Paul Pogba’s agency claims that he won’t play for France at the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

Paul Pogba, a midfielder for France and Juventus, will take part in this winter’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar, according to reports from Rafaela Pimenta, his attorney.

Tests conducted this past weekend in Turin and Pittsburgh, according to Pimenta, will exclude the 2018 world champion from the competition.

N’Golo Kante, a midfielder for Chelsea, has already been sidelined for the French coach Didier Deschamps, and lately injured Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.

Pimenta responded, “After medical exams on Sunday and Monday. “It hurts so much to tell you that Paul’s previous surgery will still require therapy (early September on a knee injury). Paul won’t be able to travel to Qatar with the French team as a result.”

Before developing a thigh issue at the beginning of last week, Pogba had been working his way back to health. Deschamps was planning to disclose his roster on November 9.

Given his incapacity to play and the scandal that surrounding him after a blackmail attempt involving his brother was launched against him, the Frenchman’s availability had been in question in recent weeks.

Paul wants to be back as soon as possible, Pimenta said to Telefoot. But in order to return to the field as soon as possible for the fans and his squad, he must arm himself with patience, work hard during these trying times, and give it his all.

Pogba’s knee recuperation was assessed by medical personnel, and Pogba is now obliged to continue his rehabilitation, per Juventus’ official statement.

According to Juve’s statement, “Paul Pogba has to continue his rehabilitation program in light of the recent radiographic scans completed at J Medical and the consultation carried out in Pittsburgh by Prof. Volker Musahl on the evaluation of his knee.”

Mike Maigna, the goalie for AC Milan, is also unlikely to be ready for Les Bleus’ valiant title defense attempt in addition to Pogba, Kante, and possibly Varane.
