Manchester City has announced the signing of Kalvin Phillips

Midfielder Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United has been signed by Manchester City to a six-year contract.

After spending eight seasons at Elland Road and making 235 appearances, English midfielder Phillips joins City.

The 26-year-old joins Stefan Ortega Moreno and Erling Haaland as Pep Guardiola’s third summer additions.

After Fernandinho left on a free transfer at the end of the previous season, Phillips has been given the number 4 shirt at Man City, which was most recently worn by Vincent Kompany.
